200 miles from source to sea – liquid history; the river is mysterious, beautiful and beguiling. The tidal section, ebbing and flowing, continually changes volume, momentum and colour.

Historical waste fragments and found objects washed-up and revealed on the foreshores by the outgoing tide. Used as a rubbish dump for centuries, the river is returning evidence of London’s past, opening a window on the way its people lived.
