BIOGRAPHY

Michael originally trained as a graphic designer and has worked in the visual communications industry in the UK and Europe for a wide range of clients in industry, commerce and the public sector.

With a comprehensive working

knowledge of the marketing and public relations industry, Michael works collaboratively with his commercial clients to achieve maximum impact from his photographic assignments – often influencing the way design, words and images are combined.

Michael has won a number of industry awards including the Docklands Business Award, the Printing Industry Award and the Paper Focus Award. His work has been exhibited at The Picturehouse in Greenwich (London), Stark Gallery (Canterbury), The River and Rowing Museum (Henley-on-Thames) and the National Portrait Gallery (London).

Michael maintains a keen interest in classic medium-format film photography, particularly with his trusty, vintage panoramic camera, used mainly for landscape work. Digital technology however provides him with unlimited creative freedom.
