From Co Cork in Ireland, Michael studied photography and graphic design in London where he lives and works. Formative years were spent with international design agencies where Michael developed his passion for the visual world. Establishing his own creative business in the early 90s, Michael and his team built a reputation for quality and excellence in their work for private and public sector clients, gaining recognition by wining awards for their distinctive out-put.

About O'Reilly Studio

Michael creates beautifully crafted portraits using natural and available light when possible.
His studio is in south east London but is also nomadic—and can be located elsewhere to suit the photo session. Michael's curiosity for exploring the overlooked and his love for the natural and built environment provides him with a great knowledge of out-of-the-ordinary locations for photo shoots in and around London. Contact him to chat about ideas and planning new projects.

Collaborating with actors, musicians and directors to capture the excitement and drama of the rehearsal process is an important element of Michael's work; his fly-on-the-wall documentary photography captures the intensity and joy of perfecting the craft of performance.

Photography Services

Michael photographs people and is dedicated to creating memorable images—whether it be a formal business portrait, a family group, a wedding or a fast-moving dress rehearsal. Recording the essence of the moment with insight and empathy underpins the visual messaging in his photographs.
